Yes, ActaEMR uses AI in transcribing to text when a Voice Note is recorded. For times when you would rather speak and not document, ActaEMR has a voice records option that can al;so be used to transcribe the voice to text. Note, this is not Google Voice Typing that directly changes speech to text. This is better because the recorded audio is stored as is and can be attached to any encounter. Voice typing loses the audio after speech is complete. To transcribe, ensure speech is clear and audible.
Though this is not advisable and cannot replace correct testing and physical examination by a qualified and licensed doctor, ActaEMR will soon introduce a new feature for viewing AI suggestions based on consultation notes/test results of a patient.
